Carolyn L. Flournoy, BA, CFP®
Carolyn is a native of Los Angeles, California and an honors graduate from Agnes Scott College, where she received a B.A. degree in Economics and Business. Carolyn has passed the FINRA Series 65 exam and the November 2012 CFP® exam, after completing the CFP® certification program with the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.
Carolyn joined Anthony Smith Advisors, Inc. in 2004, working as an intern. From 2005 to 2011, she was the Operations Manager, overseeing administrative procedures. From 2012 to 2014, she was the Relationship Manager, working in client service. Currently Carolyn is a financial advisor, and provides financial planning services and investment advice to clients.
Carolyn’s outside interests include reading, writing, painting, and ice skating.
Mariana L. Battista
Mari, a Boone, North Carolina native, graduated from the University of Georgia, where she majored in Financial Planning and completed the CFP® certification program. She has taken and successfully passed the FINRA Series 65 exam, and is currently a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional* candidate.
Mari joined ASA in January of 2017 as a Client Care Coordinator. Prior to joining ASA, Mari worked as an intern for a fee-only investment advisory firm in Athens, GA in 2016. In addition, Mari volunteered as an Advanced Certified Tax Preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) and a Student Financial Provider for the ASPIRE Clinic in Athens, GA.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cheering on the Georgia Dawgs and Carolina Panthers and exploring all that Atlanta has to offer.
Nancy joined Anthony Smith Advisors, Inc. in October, 2009 and brings with her over 20 years' experience as a legal assistant, working with tax and corporate attorneys. Nancy has also worked with individual families assisting them in the organization of their financial records and payment of their obligations.
Nancy has served as bookkeeper/treasurer for various non-profit entities on a volunteer basis.
Nancy is married and has one daughter. Her outside interests include traveling, walking, reading, and playing with her dog.
